Chapter 1  General Provisions

Article 1

The name of the Alliance is Professional Digital Trunking System Industry Alliance (PDTA for short).

Article 2

In accordance with the Guidance on Promoting Alliance for Industrial Technological Innovation (Guo Ke Fa Zheng [2008] No. 770) issued by the six ministries including the Ministry of Science and Technology as well as other relevant laws and regulations, Professional Digital Trunking System Industry Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the “Alliance” or “PDT Alliance”) was voluntarily established by business enterprises and public institutions dedicated to R&D, production & sales, and operation service of professional digital trunking system.

Article 3

Beijing Chaoyang District Digital Trunking System Standard Research Centre (hereinafter referred to as the “Centre”) shall be the supporting institution and undertake responsibilities for the Alliance. The Centre shall exercise rights and fulfuill obligations on behalf of the Alliance.

Article 4

The organizing principles of PDT Alliance are to develop jointly, combine advantages of its members, and share gains and risks.

Article 5

The PDT Alliance dedicates itself to the following activities:

• Developing Chinese professional Digital Trunking Industry with self-owned intellectual property rights in accordance with relevant national industrial policies;
• Promoting PDT technologies in industrial informatization, the Internet of Things (IOT), and private network dispatching;
• Safeguarding the intellectual property rights of the Alliance and its members;
• Boosting the Alliance members’ capacity of research & development, integration, service and network operation; and
• Promoting industrial informatization, commercialization and internationalization of PDT technologies.
