The PDT Alliance is a voluntary social organization composed of enterprises and institutions which actively engaged in the police digital trunking industry, committing to the research, development, manufacturing, integration, services, and operation of their technology, products, business and applications. The PDT Alliance belongs to the civilian society organizations, not to interfere in the operation and planning of any of its member units.

The PDT Alliance shall commit to the development of the police digital trunk industries with China's independent intellectual property rights, in conformity with national industrial policy, and shall protect intellectual property rights of the Alliance and its members, upgrading the research, development, manufacturing, integration, service and network operation level of the Alliance members, promoting the industrial information technology, industrialization and internationalization base upon the police digital trunking technology.
